Ever since the iPhone was first announced in January 2007, ChangeWave surveys have been accurately predicting the growth of Apple's game changing device. Our June Smart Phone survey is the latest example.
June 18, 2009 ChangeWave Smart Phone Survey Report:
"iPhone 3GS Announcement Leads to Soaring Demand for Apple"
"The release of the iPhone 3GS along with price cuts to their basic model have led to a big spike in future demand for Apple.
"A total of 44% of respondents planning to purchase a smart phone in the next 90 days say they'll get an Apple iPhone – a major 14-pt jump from three months ago…and a dramatic leap in market share for Apple."

"iPhone Sales Propel Apple"
"Apple reported a third-quarter profit that was up 15% from a year ago as the company sold 5.2 million iPhone units.
"The iPhone highlighted the report, as Apple said sales of its smart phone surged 626% over the same period a year ago. The new iPhone 3GS was on sale for less than two weeks during the quarter.
"Oppenheimer said response to the newest iPhone 'has been tremendous,' with more than 1 million sold in the first three days of its release. Oppenheimer said Apple was dealing with a case of high demand and insufficient inventory on the shelves.
"'We are currently unable to make enough iPhone 3GSs to meet demand, and we are working to address [that].'"
