Motorola Hurt Most By Surging Apple iPhone

January 2007. Immediately following the announcement of the Apple’s new iPhone, ChangeWave’s January 2007 cell phone survey found: “Motorola (24%) taking the biggest hit – falling a whopping 9-pts among planned purchasers to its lowest level of the past 18 months.”

March 2008. Fast forward to our latest cell phone findings from March 2008, and you can see Motorola has continued to plummet since our January 2007 survey. Currently, they are registering just 8% market share among planned purchasers.
